Devero's plain is ready to welcome you, far from the confusion of city life, surrounded by a real mountain, where nature is the protagonist of your holidays. Hiking and climbing, long and relaxing walks, mountain bike trails and cross-country skiing, downhill and ski mountaineering in winter.
Picnic area and sports facilities. It is possible to use the picnic / grill area and sports facilities in agreement with the managers of the adjacent sports area
The adjacent sports area is equipped with:
- 1 soccer field for 7 players in grass / tennis
- 1 synthetic soccer field
- 1 petanque field
- 1 beach volley court
- Toilet
- Picnic area, bar and solarium
In this area of the Val d'Ossola, crossed by the river Toce, there are waterfalls and streams that intersect in an evocative labyrinth, cut by narrow gorges and ravines of rock: the Orridi di Uriezzo, originated by the action of an ancient glacier and from the continuous erosion of the Toce.
Visit the Monumental Church of San Gaudenzio, a 10-minute walk from the camper area. It has very ancient origins; in fact the first documents that testify to the existence of a primitive chapel date back to the early years of 1000. Built in Lombard Romanesque, it was dedicated to St. Gaudenzio, the first bishop of Novara (337-417).
Visit the Orridi di Uriezzo, a 30-minute walk from the camper area. The ravines are distinguished by a series of large subcircular cavities separated by narrow and winding tunnels. The walls are all carved from niches and grooves produced by the whirling and violent motion of waterfalls. In some places they get so close they can not see the sky from the bottom.
Sport and nature characterize this little green corner of the Alps. Sport climbing, tourist fishing, trekking and mountain-biking are among the main ways you can try your hand during your stay.
The camper area is completely embraced by the Devero stream, a water basin rich in fish fauna. Why not try tourist fishing, thanks to the agreement with FIPSAS?
Near Baceno is the Croveo cliff, a destination for many local climbers especially during the summer months, given its natural exposure which always guarantees a fresh and restful environment. Degrees range from 3+ to 8b.
PremiaTerme is a modern structure that was inaugurated in August 2008. The complex is located on 26,000 square meters of land and extends over 5,000 square meters, with healing and recreational spa facilities. The structure forms a space that opens out towards the south, with a large, outdoor, recreational and therapeutic pool.
The series of pools continues, connecting to the inside area, which is dedicated to various therapeutic functions. Saunas, aerosol therapy, and water treatments complete the centre's well-being facilities.
